In the week starting Monday the 10th of July 2000 Channel 4 ran a show every night on UK national TV called The Emillionaire Show. The idea was that three people with Internet start­up ideas in similar fields competed each night – the five first round winners going on to a grand final at the end of the week to compete for a million pounds of venture capital. The programme was made by Princess Productions, a well-known Notting Hill based company.
